Tetragrammaton Pentagram Pendant
Tetragrammaton Pentagram Pendant
"The Tetragrammaton[note 1] is the four-letter Hebrew theonym יהוה (transliterated as YHWH or YHVH), the name of God in the Hebrew Bible. The four letters, written and read from right to left (in Hebrew), are yodh, he, waw, and he.[1] The name may be derived from a verb that means "to be", "to exist", "to cause to become", or "to come to pass".[2] While there is no consensus about the structure and etymology of the name, the form Yahweh is now accepted almost universally among Biblical and Semitic linguistics scholars,[note 2] though the vocalization Jehovah continues to have wide usage.[3][4][5]" -from Wikipedia
'Tetragrammaton' is a Greek word referencing a four letter name. It is a nick name of sorts. During the 1800s, the occultist Eliphas Levi incorporated this name of god into a pentagram. Worn with the center point up, Levi's symbol is said to drive away demons (tenebrous) and protect the wearer.
This pendant was hand made by the disabled U.S. military veterans at Sexy Viking. The symbol is first printed on parchment paper. It is then sealed between a 25mm glass cabochon and a bronze tone setting.
