Wear a piece of history. Our bog oak is from the Fens of England. It has been dated to between 4,000 and 6.000 years old. Thousands of years ago, oak trees fell into pear moss bogs. The dark color comes from the preserving properties of tannins in the acid bog waters. If left much longer, it would likely become coal.
