^{The 44 seals or pentacles of Solomon were reportedly created by the god of Abrahan, transmitted by his holy Archangel Michael, and received by the biblical king Solomon.  Legend tells us these holy seals brought the king wealth building knowledge of the universe.  The seals, their attributes, and power are best recorded in the book now published as The Greater Key of Solomon.}

<sup>The hexagram of Solomon is also known as the Star of David.  Jewish and Islamic tradition claim it is the symbol found on King Solomon's magic ring.  Reportedly this ring gave Solomon the ability to command demons as well as communicate and commune with animals.

It is also a symbol of balance between the masculine and the feminine.  Consisting of two triangles, the downward triangle represents the masculine element of air and spirit.  The upward pointing triangle represents the feminine element of water and the tangible world.  United, they unite thought (masculine) with substance (feminine) to manifest creation.  The depiction being similar to Catholic image of a dove joining a chalice.  It is an ideal symbol for all who want to bring thought into form, such as an artist or a parent.</sup>
