Bonfire Glass Pins

Bonfire glass is the term given to multi-color sea/beach glass.   Generally, it is initially formed unintentionally.  Folk have a bonfire on the beach and toss empty glass bottles in the fire.  If the fire stays hot enough for enough time, the different colored glass fuses.  Later, it cools, cracks, and ends up in the surf.  Over decades of being surf tumbled the bits become a collaboration between man and nature.  These are not those.

We did the bonfire, we did the drinking, But I sped up the surf tumbling with a concrete mixer and then a rock tumbler.  Size, shape, and color variations will vary depending on what we were drinking.
