Triquetra (Trinity Knot) Earrings

Silver tone Triquetra earrings with wood bead.  Also called the Trinity Knot, Its name comes from the Latin triquetrus, which means "three-cornered.".  It has been observed in Celtic art and history as early as the 7th century.  In Christianity, it came to symbolize the holly trinity.  Previously, it was thought associated with the three stages of life.  In the feminine maiden, mother & crone.  In the masculine: master, father, and sage.  It is often considered a symbol of balance.
