30 mm / 1.18" silver tone pendants. Each Icelandic symbol is circled by the 24 runes of the elder futhark and etched into 304 stainless steel.
Aegishjalmur - Also called the Helm of Awe and Helm of terror. The Icelandic Aegishjalmur is a magical stave which brings protection, power, and invincibility to the wearer. The earliest known references are found in a 17th-century Icelandic grimoire.
Hulinhjalmur - Also called the Helm of Disguise. The Icelandic Hulinhjalmur is said to cause the wearer to go unnoticed. This symbol can be traced as far back as the 17th-century grimoires like the Galdrabók
Vegvísir - Also called the wayfinder, the Vegvísir is alleged to protect travelers and keep the wearer on the right path. Although it can only be traced to 19th-century Icelandic manuscripts, the 19th-century, the Vegvísir is often called the Viking Compass as if it were used during the Viking Age.
Veldismagn - In later Icelandic accounts, the Veldismagn was used to protect the home and those who travel from the home.
